Through compelling video stories of everyday entrepreneurs from across the country and weekly visits from local entrepreneurs, you’ll explore how mindset—not money or luck—is what drives opportunity. Not only if you’re thinking of starting a business, but also if you’re a student questioning your path, someone stuck in a job you don’t love, or a retiree looking for new purpose, this class will help you reframe the way you approach challenges—and possibilities.
Most certainly, Entrepreneurial Mindset is helpful in starting a business, but it’s really about starting to think like a problem-solver, a contributor, a creator. The Entrepreneurial Mindset is the most important skill for the future, whether you work for yourself or someone else.

This class is very different than any you've ever experienced. Here is the weekly flow:
- At home, 1 to 1 1/2 hours watching Ice House video stories
- In class, on Tuesdays,

- Arrive between 5:30 and 6:00 for food and conversation
- At 6:00, 1 hour of guided, discussion-based dialogue
- At 7:00, local guest entrepreneurs share their stories

This fall's class will be co-facilitated by Jim Correll, long-time Ice House facilitator and Dan Thorenson, certified Ice House facilitator and proprietor of Nordic Turbine Service.

PRICING NOTE: The actual cost to host this class considering food, licensing and facilitators approaches $300 per person. IBRC and Montgomery County eCommunity, along with Network Kansas, believe so strongly in community Entrepreneurial Mindset that together they subsidize the cost to make the class affordable for everyone.
