Entrepreneurial Mindset Class, Veterans Edition

View/Download Flyer

Veterans possess a unique set of skills, including leadership, discipline, and resilience, which are highly transferable to the business world. However, transitioning from military service to civilian life can be challenging, and developing an entrepreneurial mindset can greatly aid this transition. An entrepreneurial mindset encourages veterans to leverage their problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and strategic thinking in innovative ways, empowering them to create their own business opportunities or excel within existing organizations. This mindset fosters self-reliance and creativity, enabling veterans to address market needs and contribute to economic growth while finding personal fulfillment and stability in their post-military careers.

This class is very different than any you've ever experienced, requiring only 1 1/2 to 2 hours outside of class each week, primarily viewing videos of successful entrepreneurs.* Registration includes a light dinner served just before class starts. Class sessions are one-hour discussion about the week's assigned video content followed by one hour with a local guest veteran entrepreneur to tell the story  of how they started their businesses.

"I'm very grateful for all the training and knowledge I gained from my military service. When I left the military, the change in lifestyle was dramatic. I wish I would have had the opportunity for the Entrepreneurial Mindset class at that time, however, even now, the class has given me the confidence to create a business using those skills I learned in the military. The Entrepreneurial Mindset class will help any veteran, whether wanting to start a business or to discover their purpose and develop their potential in the community."

NOTE: Adopting an entrepreneurial mindset extends beyond exploring business opportunities; it influences your decision-making in all aspects of life, both personal and professional. Whether or not you start a business, this mindset helps you maximize your potential by fostering innovative thinking, proactive problem-solving, and a drive for continuous improvement. It equips you with the tools to navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and achieve your goals, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and successful life.
